Industry Focus: Radon Gas
Alan has over 18 years of experience in the radon industry. In addition to a deep personal connection to radon, he is a founding board member and past president of CARST (Canadian Association of Radon Scientists & Technologists) and a former CEO of a radon mapping and supply company. In 2025, Alan was pleased to rejoin the CARST board.
Alan is a respected leader in the radon industry, a passionate radon advocate, and an activist for legislative change to raise public awareness and protect people from radon exposure at home, at school, and at work.
In June 2026, Alan received an award from the Board of CARST in recognition of his leadership and achievements in the radon industry. Alan is also the only person to have been elected to the position of CARST President for 4 consecutive years.
